On Thursday, August 22, 2002, at the Sheriff's Foreclosure Sale held in the main auditorium of the Montgomery County Administration Building, Mr. William Kuntz III alleges that Execution Clerk Sue Phillips and Clerk/Typist Nicole Christy did not afford him his right to bid on a property being sold.
Lieutenant Spaulding investigated this complaint by interviewing Mr. Chris Regal of OCD Network Systems and Mr. Craig Vaughn of Vaughn investments who witnessed the incident, Execution Clerk Sue Phillips, Clerk/Typist Nicole Christy, and Court Services Deputy Sara Woods. Lieutenant Spaulding found that Mr. Kuntz' allegations did not have merit. (See Lieutenant Spaulding's investigative report).
