Deputy involved in his own domestic dispute

On Saturday, May 17, 2003, at approximately 2145 hours, at 114 B Turner Road, Deputy Kent Saunders was involved in a domestic dispute with Ms. LaQuinna Ford. A 9-1-1 call was made from the residence to the Sheriff's Office Communications Center.

Deputies Jeremy Roy and Gary Ridgeway were dispatched to the address to investigate the disturbance. Deputy Roy observed Deputy Saunders and Ms. Ford in an argument inside the residence. Deputy Roy instructed Deputy Saunders to leave and allegedly Deupty Saunders did not comply. Deputy Roy allegedly had to physically escort Deputy Saunders out of the apartment. Deputy Ridgeway determined there were no criminal charged to pursue regarding the disturbance but requested Sergeant Timothy Bargo to respond to the scene because it involved an off-duty officer.

Ms. Ford told Sergeant Bargo she wanted to file an officer complaint on Deputy Saunders due to his conduct at her residence. Sergeant Bargo requested Deputy Saunders leave the scene and meet him at District Ten Headquarters. Deputy Saunders allegedly failed to comply with Sergeant Bargo's request...
