Dave Vore withdraws bogus Ohio Election Commission complaint against Judy Dodge
The Dayton Daily News is now reporting that the Montgomery County Republican Party and Dave Vore are withdrawing their October 31 frivolous complaint against Judy Dodge.
November 5, 2012 (Dayton Daily News)
The chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Party on Monday withdrew a complaint with the Ohio Elections Commission against County Commissioner Judy Dodge over two campaign videos on her website.
As exclusively reported on MontCnty.com, Dave Vore and the Montgomery County Republican Party were hypocrites for criticizing Dodge when the Republican Party had the same 2008 Dayton Daily News endorsement on the web site for their 2012 candidate for sheriff.
Dave Vore stood little chance of succeeding with his complaint to the Ohio Elections Commission. But his complaint was more theatrical than having any substance. By issuing a press release to the local media several days ago, he gained free advertising at the expense of his opponent. In political advertising, you are guilty even if proven innocent. With only one day left before the election, Dodge's campaign cannot take the same advantage with a free press release about Vore's withdrawn complaint. Voters have had several days to believe Dodge violated election laws. Voters now have only one day left to comprehend how much of an ass hat Dave Vore and the Republican Party are.
