Deputy grabs woman by the arm

Ms. Virginia Caulley alleged that Deputy Ridgeway responded to her residence, 6760 North Dixie Drive, to assist the Huber Heights Police Department in an attempt to serve a warrant on her son, Joseph Caulley. Ms. Caulley alleged that because she initially refused to allow Deputy Ridgeway permission to enter her residence he grabbed her by her arm, placed her in his cruiser and threatened to place her under arrest unless she gave him permission to enter her residence.

It is alleged on June 10, 2003, after the conclusion of their shift, Sergeant Jeff Papanek, Deputies Kristi Bendinelli, Josh Tays, Gary Ridgeway, Brad Daugherty, Andrew McCoy, Matt Wright, Dennis Krust, Brian Krimmer, Shamus McLaughlin and Jeremy Roy consumed at least one alcoholic beverage in the parking lot of the Harrison Township District Ten substation (5945 North Dixie Drive).

Suspect injured during arrest

On Sunday, January 5, 2003, Deputy Gary Ridgeway and Deputy Tonya Baker arrived at 48 Stafford Avenue in Harrison Township to speak with juvenile assault suspect, Frank Michael Collins. While being arrested for the assault charge, Frank resisted Deputy Ridegeway's and Deputy Baker's orders and sustained physical injuries.
